Seasonal Organic Vegetables
This week’s vast produce selection includes Romanesco, tiny fennel, golden frying peppers, Delicata squash, pac choi, Piricicaba sprouting broccoli, French Breakfast radishes, red Cipollini onions, Russian Banana fingerling potatoes and hakeuri turnips.
Farm & Larder Chicken Stock
Made from roasted Bella Luna chickens, this flavorful pint of stock is simmered slowly for hours with carrots, onions and celery and seasoned with a dash of sea salt.
Baked just for us by our favorite bakery in Snohomish, this fresh loaf boasts a sweet, rich flavor thanks to a traditional base of silky eggs and Shepherd’s Grain flour, plus a touch of sugar.
Cranberry Coffee Cakes
Kissed with sweet-tart, ruby-red cranberries and brown sugar, these delicious coffee cakes make for a fantastic brunch addition or a sweet afternoon snack!
Clos des Lumières L’éclat Côtes du Rhône Rouge 2017
This refreshing French Rosé is crafted from a medley of Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvedre grapes which give the wine a very fine nose dominated by hints of strawberry, pink grapefruit and cherry.
Farm Fresh Eggs
Our small flock of heritage breed laying hens gives us fresh eggs in beautiful shades of brown and green. With the shorter days of fall, the girls are up with the sun to roam the outdoors. Bedtime is coming much earlier now, as we see them heading into their house to roost as the sun is going down.
Creamy with just the right amount of tang, our housemade feta is crafted from a mix of Bella Luna goat’s milk as well as cow’s milk. Sprinkle this pungent, soft cheese over an autumnal salad of Treviso radicchio and sliced apple for added flavor and bite.
