Take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle with this week’s box of seasonal favorites. Packed with such choice provisions as farm-fresh eggs, Gruyère cheese bread, beautiful French Rosé, a decadent carrot cake almond-walnut butter from Big Spoon Roasters and Tunawerth Creamery’s tangy Greek yogurt, this lineup also features fresh produce like Treviso radicchio, salad greens, Golden Russet apples and a bevy of root veggies like carrots, Chioggia beets, onions, garlic and Purple Viking potatoes. Here’s what you’ll find in your box this week:

Golden Russet Apples

Intensely-sweet with a beautifully-russeted exterior, the Golden Russet variety is considered an heirloom variety, and is one of the oldest cultivated in America. Long used in apple cider production given its highly-concentrated flavor, it is also excellent for just eating!

Gruyère Cheese Bread

Made in nearby Snohomish by our favorite bakery, this freshly-baked loaf balances rich Gruyère cheese with a light, crisp crust. Absolutely delicious toasted or re-warmed in the oven—just sprinkle with a few drops of water and bake at 350° for about 15 minutes.

Ravoire et Fils 2021 Domaine des Bellugues Rosé Mediterranée

Made by a small family estate named for the fireflies that live around the vineyard (bellegues means “spark”), this beautiful French Rosé bursts with fresh fruit flavors and a crisp, bright acidity.

Tunawerth Creamery Greek Yogurt

Perfectly-creamy, yet delightfully-tangy, this lovely yogurt hails from a small, family-operated creamery located in Tenino, Washington.

Farm Fresh Eggs

Our small flock of heritage breed laying hens are on an early-to-bed, later-to-rise schedule with the short daylight hours. As they spend more time snug in their coop, the “girls” are enjoying an extra helping of grain to supplement their diet, continuing to give us fresh eggs in beautiful shades of brown, beige and cream.

Big Spoon Roasters Carrot Cake Almond & Walnut Butter

Made with lightly toasted English walnuts, heirloom Mission almonds, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, maple syrup, and Jacobsen sea salt, this decadent nut butter from North Carolina’s Big Spoon Roasters is also vegan, has no refined sugar, and contains only heart-healthy fats.
