It’s almost turkey time! As families, friends and loved ones come together at the table, this week’s box is filled with farm-fresh provisions to make all your holiday entertaining a breeze—everything from our signature turkey brining kit to a wealth of produce that includes winter squash, leeks, Huckleberry gold and sweet potatoes, plus other holiday helpers like freshly-baked sourdough bread and Stollen loaf, eggs from our heritage breed hens, freshly-milled organic flour, fragrant herbs, organic greens, and apple-pear cider. Turkey Brining Kit

Our signature dry-brine mixture is crafted from fresh farm herbs, kosher salt and aromatic spices. See this week’s recipes for full instructions on this simple and easy way to produce an incredibly juicy turkey.

Bluebird Grain Farm Organic Pasayten Hard White Wheat Flour

This flour made by a plow-to-package grain farm in Winthrop, Washington, is the ultimate “whole grain” all purpose flour. Its high protein, mild flavor, and soft texture allows for baking versatility; use it for all your Thanksgiving needs, like quick breads, pie crusts, cookies, muffins, and yeast breads!

Sourdough Bread & Stollen Loaf

This week’s delivery includes freshly-baked sourdough bread (perfect for making stuffing!), as well as traditional German Stollen fruit and almond loaf, both from our favorite local bakery.

Tortoise Creek Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

This beautiful Cabernet from the venerated wine-making area of Lodi, California, is medium bodied with lush dark cherry and blackberry fruit, a lovely accompaniment to any Thanksgiving Day spread.

Allview Orchards Honeycrisp Apple-Pear Cider

This crisp cider from Chelan’s Allview Orchards is made from a wonderful combination of Honey Crisp apples and Bartlett pears plucked straight from the orchards. Unfiltered for a clean flavor, the pasteurized cider is both smooth and sweet, with a mellow finish courtesy of the pears.

Bellsong Creamery Crème Fraîche & Fromage Blanc

This rich and silky crème fraîche is crafted by our in-house farmstead creamery, Bellsong, from pasteurized organic sweet cream. Light in texture and tangy in taste, our fromage blanc is lovingly-made from local cow’s milk—put it to work in your favorite recipes, or mix it with fresh herbs or lemon zest and honey to add lusciously-creamy appeal to a holiday cheese board!

Farm Fresh Eggs

Our small flock of heritage breed laying hens gives us fresh eggs each day in beautiful shades of brown, cream and green. With the much shorter days of fall, the girls are up with the sun to start the day, anxious to head outside where they still enjoy roaming if it isn’t raining too much! Bedtime is coming much earlier now, as we see them heading into their house to roost as the sun is going down.

Organic Greens

This week, enjoy baby mustard greens, spinach, and mixed radicchio.

Seasonal Organic Fruit & Vegetables

This week’s produce selection also includes: Locally grown sweet potatoes from Swiss Farms, leeks mini Delicata winter squash, and Huckleberry Gold potatoes, plus apples from the Bella Luna orchard.
