How it Works

First of all, how does it work? A handcrafted wooden box will be hand-delivered to your doorstep, where it will remain throughout the duration of your subscription. This is where your weekly Farm & Larder goods will be placed each week.

This week’s box is serving up bold flavors and serious game-day energy—just in time for the big showdown! With spicy Skagit River Ranch chorizo, tender Tortillas Con Madre flour tortillas, locally made salsa, hearty black beans, and salty cotija for finishing, you’ve got everything you need for tacos, nachos, burrito bowls, and crowd-pleasing dips. Add in farm-fresh eggs, crisp winter chicories, bright citrus, and fresh cilantro, and your spread is ready to go from kickoff to final whistle. Go Hawks!

Skagit River Ranch Chorizo Sausage
This pig has kick: Spiced with cumin, coriander and Ancho chili powder, these flavorful sausage links from our friends at the Skagit River Ranch in Sedro-Woolley are crafted from their famous all-natural pork and make for a spicy addition to any Tex-Mex fare you choose, from tacos to chili to burritos!

Tortillas Con Madre Flour Tortillas
Crafted from just five simple ingredients—organic artisan flour, water, organic pumpkin oil, sea salt, and non-aluminum baking powder—these street-taco-ready tortillas are made with love according to a treasured recipe by a small, family-run producer based in Lynden, Washington.

Skagit’s Best Salsa Company Medium-Ish Salsa
Hailing from Anacortes, this locally-crafted chunky salsa is full of ripe tomatoes, fresh cilantro, crisp onions, zesty peppers, garlic, lime juice and flavorful spices. (The “ish” in the name refers to the heat of the jalapeños, which vary in spiciness depending on the time of year!)

Multigrain Bread
Crafted in nearby Snohomish by our favorite bakery, this healthy freshly-baked loaf is made with locally-milled Shepherd’s Grain flour and seven different whole grains, plus a hint of honey and toasted sunflower seeds. 

Icicle Alpenhaze Hazy Ipa
Crafted by Icicle Brewing out of Leavenworthy, this signature hazy is a bright, tropical and juicy IPA made from Mosaic, Citra, El Dorado and Simcoe hops, giving it notes of mango, pineapple, tangerine and apricot that excite both the nose and palate.

Familia del Norte Queso Cotija

Often called the “Mexican Parmesan,” this whole-milk cotija is aged up to 60 days for a firmer texture and a deeper, bolder flavor than the typical crumbly version. Salty, savory, and beautifully complex, it’s perfect for grating over tacos. A little goes a long way, adding a bright, finishing touch that brings any dish to life.

Farm Fresh Eggs
Our small flock of heritage-breed Black Copper Marans, Ameraucanas, and Delawares provides us with fresh eggs in beautiful shades of brown and green. With the shorter days of winter, the hens rise with the sun to roam outdoors—and tuck into their coop early each evening to roost.

DeCasa Blue Corn Tortilla Chips
Crafted in small batches right here in the Northwest, these hearty blue corn chips are made with USDA Organic, non-GMO corn and just a handful of simple ingredients. Thick, crunchy, and built for serious dipping, they’re perfect alongside salsa, bean dip, hummus, or anything else that needs a in your gameday spread that needs a good scoop.

Steel Wheel Farm Dried Black Beans
Grown and harvested by hand at Steel Wheel Farm, these organic dried black beans reflect the care and stewardship behind every crop they produce. Using regenerative, chemical-free practices and rich, replenished soils, this small family farm grows beans with exceptional flavor and texture.

Seasonal Organic Greens
Your box contains a beautiful selection of winter chicories: Rosalba and Chioggia radicchio, plus red and green endive.

Fresh Organic Fruit & Vegetables
This week’s produce selection also includes red onions, limes, and Cara Cara oranges.
