How it Works

First of all, how does it work? A handcrafted wooden box will be hand-delivered to your doorstep, where it will remain throughout the duration of your subscription. This is where your weekly Farm & Larder goods will be placed each week.

A Spring Brunch to Savor

This week’s box brings the ease and elegance of a slow spring brunch to your table. Layer wild smoked salmon onto artisanal bagels for a classic lox, fold sautéed foraged mushrooms into soft-scrambled eggs, and let silky fromage blanc add a creamy touch to both sweet and savory plates. With fresh eggs from our flock, peppery greens, vibrant produce, and garden herbs, everything you need is here for a relaxed, beautiful meal—best enjoyed with good company and a little extra time at the table.

Here’s what you’ll find in your box this week:

Wild Bay Seafood Company Traditional Smoked Salmon
Wild-caught in the pristine waters of Bristol Bay, Alaska and traditionally smoked using a custom brine, this richly flavored sockeye is as versatile as it is delicious. Perfectly suited for this week’s brunch spread—layer it onto your New Day bagels for an effortless, classic lox at home.

New Day Bakery Bagels
Handcrafted in Duvall using thoughtfully sourced, local ingredients, New Day Bagels brings an artisanal touch to a classic favorite. This week’s bagels are the perfect complement to your brunch spread—especially alongside this week’s smoked salmon.

Local Mushrooms
Woodsy, earthy early spring mushrooms, foraged close to home and full of rich, savory flavor. A simple sauté with butter and herbs lets their natural depth shine—perfect alongside eggs, folded into pasta, or served over toast.

Casal Garcia Vinho Verde
Light, bright, and effortlessly refreshing, this classic Vinho Verde offers a lively mix of melon, peach, green apple, and citrus, with a hint of lime and a gentle spritz. Low in alcohol and easygoing in style, it’s the perfect companion to this week’s brunch—especially alongside smoked salmon, fresh greens, and all the zippy, vibrant flavors on the table.

Farm Fresh Eggs
Our small flock of heritage-breed Black Copper Marans, Ameraucanas, and Delawares provides us with fresh eggs in beautiful shades of brown and green. As the days lengthen, they are enjoying more time outside in their run, pecking, scratching, and soaking up the first hints of spring sunshine.

Bellsong Creamery Fromage Blanc
Light, silky, and gently tangy, this fresh cheese is crafted from local cow’s milk and made for slow brunch moments. Spread onto bagels, pair with smoked salmon, or finish with honey or herbs for an effortlessly elegant bite.

Seasonal Organic Greens
This week’s box includes peppery watercress, radicchio, and Belgium endive.

Fresh Organic Fruit & Vegetables
This week’s produce selection also includes purple sprouting broccoli, sweet onions, red radishes, and Badger Flame beets, fennel bulbs, leeks, Acorn winter squash, and red cabbage, plus Jonagold apples, red D’Anjou pears, and Cara Cara oranges.

Garden-Grown Herbs
Oaxacan oregano and green garlic from the hoophouse and walled garden here at Bella Luna.
