How it Works

First of all, how does it work? A handcrafted wooden box will be hand-delivered to your doorstep, where it will remain throughout the duration of your subscription. This is where your weekly Farm & Larder goods will be placed each week.

Fresh Pickings

This week’s box is bursting with flavor and freshness—from tender greens and fava shoots to garden herbs and foraged mushrooms. Build beautiful spring salads with the likes of vibrant microgreens, Little Gem lettuce, shiso and sunflower shoots, and add on from the vibrant array of produce that includes leeks, Hakurei turnips, radishes, and fennel. Plus, you’ll find fragrant herbs like lovage and tarragon to elevate vinaigrettes, and rhubarb and Cara Cara oranges to bring sweet-tart balance. Also included: Lagana’s handcrafted pasta, Bow Hill blueberry marinade, hen and duck eggs, and our own creamy fromage blanc.

Here’s what you’ll find in your box this week:

Lagana Foods Vesuvio Pasta
Named after the spiraling slopes of Italy’s Mount Vesuvius, this pasta shape features tight curls and deep ridges that hold onto sauces beautifully—making it perfect for capturing every bit of spring’s sautéed greens, buttery leeks, or a light cream finish. Its hearty texture and handmade feel bring a rustic elegance to even the simplest dish.

Locally Foraged Morel Mushrooms
These seasonal mushrooms are only available in the wild, developing a cult following of local ‘mushroom hunters’ who roam our forests looking for this treat of nature. Woodsy and earthy, yet delicate and rich, they are excellent incorporated into a variety of dishes, or simply sautéed in butter or olive oil and enjoyed on their own with a squeeze of lemon over top.

Pain au Levain Bread
This slightly-nutty, slightly-sweet sourdough bread epitomizes French country-style baking with a chewy crust and light, airy interior. Baked by our favorite bakery in Snohomish, this traditional Pain au Levain is crafted using the bakery’s own sourdough starter.

J. Mourat Collection Vin de France Rosé
Comprising vineyards spanning 120 hectares, Vignobles Mourat represents one of the largest viticultural plots dedicated to organic agriculture in the Loire Valley. Made from Pinot Noir, Gamay, and Cab Franc, this bright and thirst quenching Rosé is bursting with aromas of crushed cherry, watermelon and herb. It is fleshy on the palate with intense flavors of cherry and raspberry.

Duck Eggs
With near-transparent egg whites and color-rich oversize yolks, these local duck eggs are a chef’s dream, lending flavorful appeal to a variety of dishes.

Farm Fresh Eggs
Our small flock of heritage breed laying hens is made up of three breeds: Black Copper Maran, Ameraucana, and Delaware. As they balance their time between foraging in their outdoor run during rain breaks and then snuggling up in their coop in the evenings, they also enjoy produce trimmings and fresh greens to supplement their diet of organic layer mash, and continue to give us fresh eggs in beautiful shades of brown, beige and cream.

Bellsong Creamery Fromage Blanc
Light in texture and tangy in taste, our fromage blanc is lovingly-made from local cow’s milk—put it to work in your favorite recipes, or mix it with fresh herbs or lemon zest and honey to add lusciously-creamy appeal to your next cheese board.

Bow Hill Blueberry Marinade
Crafted from heirloom blueberries, this punchy, small-batch marinade is excellent on roasted veg, grilled meats, or stirred into grain bowls.

Seasonal Organic Greens
This week’s delivery of beautiful spring greens features fancy salad mix, fava shoots, shiso microgreens, sunflower shoots, and Little Gem lettuce.

Seasonal Organic Fruit & Vegetables
This week’s produce selection also includes: Fennel, red radishes, leeks, ramps, and Hakurei turnips, plus Cara Cara oranges and rhubarb.

Garden-Grown Herbs
Tarragon, lovage, parsley, oregano and sage from the walled garden.

Farmer’s Market Garden
A classic collection of organic culinary vegetables—all in a cute little tin! Start your summer garden with seeds for Brandywine tomatoes, French Breakfast radishes, French carrots, edible nasturtium flowers, bunching onions, Rouge d’Hiver lettuce, Sweet Ann peas, maxibel, and haricot vert beans, plus garden stakes, pencil, and planting directions, all found inside.
