How it Works

First of all, how does it work? A handcrafted wooden box will be hand-delivered to your doorstep, where it will remain throughout the duration of your subscription. This is where your weekly Farm & Larder goods will be placed each week.

September Sunshine

As September arrives, the flavors of summer still shine in this week’s box. Sweet bi-color corn, tender squash, ripe tomatoes, Marconi peppers, and Persian cucumbers capture the season’s warmth, while sun-dried tomato–flecked Pomodoro loaf and rustic Vesuvio pasta set the stage for cozy, comforting meals ahead. With fresh eggs, fragrant garden herbs, edible blooms, and crisp endive frisée rounding out the mix, this delivery bridges summer’s abundance with the first whispers of autumn.

Here’s what you’ll find in your box this week:

Lagana Foods Vesuvio Pasta
Named after the spiraling slopes of Italy’s Mount Vesuvius, this pasta shape features tight curls and deep ridges that hold onto sauces beautifully—making it a perfect pairing for pesto, pomodoro, marinara sauces, and more. Its hearty texture and handmade feel bring a rustic elegance to even the simplest dish.

Pomodoro Loaf
Flecked with flavorful sun-dried tomatoes and herbs, plus a hint of sea salt, this savory loaf is baked just for us by our favorite bakery in Snohomish.

Underground Wine Project Rosé 2024
Made by The Underground Wine Project, a partnership between all-star Washington winemakers Mark Ryan Neilly of Mark Ryan Winery and Trey Busch of Sleight of Hand Cellars, this rosé is bright with lifted aromas of fresh-picked strawberries, raspberry, and subtle stone fruit nuances. The luxurious texture unfolds on the palate, balanced by refreshing acidity and minerality. Flavors of blood orange, juicy watermelon, and cantaloupe create a bright and sophisticated expression that ends with a mouthwatering finish.

Farm Fresh Eggs
Our small flock of heritage breed laying hens is made up of three heritage breeds: Black Copper Maran, Ameraucana, and Delaware. As they spend plenty of time outdoors in the summer sun, they are also enjoying garden trimmings to supplement their diet as they continue to give us fresh eggs in beautiful shades of brown, beige and cream.

Seasonal Organic Greens
Beautiful frisée, plus Lucia and Treviso radicchio.

Fresh Organic Fruit & Vegetables
This week’s produce selection includes sweet and bi-color corn, red onions, both heirloom slicing and cherry tomatoes, Marconi peppers, Persian cucumbers, radishes, eggplant, Chioggia beets, and mixed summer squash.

Garden-Grown Herbs and Edible Flowers
A fragrant mixed bundle of fresh herbs and edible flowers from the walled garden and hoophouse.
