The time is ripe—for just about everything! From spicy summer greens, heirloom tomatoes and crisp cucumbers to beautiful striped eggplant, Italian Tropea onions and baby Chioggia beets, this week’s box is a display of late summer splendor. Filled with a bevy of salad-ready provisions including gorgeous sheep’s milk feta cheese and housemade raspberry vinaigrette, this refreshing lineup also features a bright French Rosé, Pain au Levain bread and our signature cobbler mix to pair with plump blueberries so that you can enjoy each and every bite this box has to offer.

Here’s what you’ll find in your box:

Raspberry Vinaigrette

Wake up your palette with this light, refreshing vinaigrette. Fit for summer salads (see this week’s recipes for ideas!), it is crafted in our farmhouse kitchen from raspberries, Champagne vinegar and a hint of honey.

Harmony Fields Sheep’s Milk Feta

This sirene-style white brine cheese from Harmony Fields situated in the Skagit Valley is made from 100-percent sheep’s milk. Similar to Greek feta with a tart, lemony finish, it has a creamier texture than most feta, with a touch of saltiness that pairs perfectly with salads.

Pain au Levain Bread

This slightly-nutty, slightly-sweet sourdough loaf embodies country-style French baking with a chewy crust and light, airy interior. Baked just for us at a small bakery in Snohomish, this traditional Pain au Levain is crafted using the bakery’s own sourdough starter.

Ravoire et Fils 2019 Domaine des Bellugues Rosé Mediterranée

Made by a small family estate named for the fireflies that live around the vineyard (bellegues means “spark”), this French rosé bursts with fresh fruit flavors and a crisp, bright acidity.

Farm Fresh Eggs

Busy scratching through the straw mulch in their spacious outdoor run looking for tasty bugs and worms, our heritage breed laying hens supply us with fresh eggs in beautiful shades of brown, beige and cream.

F&L Cobbler Crust Mix

Our signature cobbler crust mix contains organic flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and butter; when combined with cream, the resulting mixture produces a light and fluffy cobbler topping. Just pair with this week’s blueberries for the perfect summer dessert.

Ripe Summer Fruit

Kosui Asian pears and beautiful, locally-grown blueberries.

Seasonal Organic Greens

A beautiful mix of spicy summer greens and Treviso radicchio.

Seasonal Organic Vegetables

This week’s produce selection also includes baby Chioggia beets, Italian Tropea onions, purple scallions, Annina striped eggplant, English cucumbers and both heirloom tomatoes and mixed heirloom cherry tomatoes.

Italian parsley, basil, garlic, thyme and rosemary from the walled garden at Bella Luna Farms.

Dick Taylor Vanilla Raspberry Chocolate Bar

Made ‘bean-to-bar’ in Dick Taylor’s small Northern California factory, this dark chocolate bar is kissed with a mix of organic, freeze-dried raspberries and organic vanilla-coconut palm sugar.
