Take advantage this week with a grill-friendly feast flush with seasonal favorites: Crisp cabbage and cucumbers, ripe tomatoes and corn, all to toss into summery sides, plus housemade pickled okra and whole grain bread, rosé wine and all the ingredients for peach shortcakes topped with vanilla-honey crème fraîche.

House-Blend Dry Grilling Rub

Time to fire up the grill! Made with a mixture of savory-sweet spices including brown sugar, smoked paprika and sea salt, our house-blend rub is excellent on chicken, beef, or grilled veggies.

Fresh Whole Grain Bread

Crafted in nearby Snohomish by one of our favorite local bakeries, this healthy round loaf is made from 7 different whole grains, plus a hint of honey and toasted sunflower seeds.

Housemade Pickled Okra

Our quick-pickled okra is spiced with peppercorns, mustard seed, vinegar and an assembly of fresh herbs.

Julia’s Dazzle Rosé

Bottled by Dolan & Weiss Cellars, this crisp and dry rosé is crafted from Pinot Grigio and Sangiovese grapes grown on the lands of The Benches Vineyard in Horse Heaven Hills. Tart with plum, lemon and nectarine notes, it is a wonderful pairing for summery salads and smoky vegetables hot off the grill.

Farm Fresh Eggs

Our flock of heritage breed laying hens produce eggs in beautiful shades of brown, blue and green. During the warm days of summer, the ‘girls’ spend their days outdoors chasing tasty bugs, taking dust baths and enjoying the tasty raspberry leaves we feed them from the garden.

Housemade Vanilla-Honey Crème Fraîche

Crafted in our farmstead creamery from pasteurized organic sweet cream, this rich and silky crème fraîche is accented with hints of vanilla and honey from the apiary. It adds a beautiful finishing touch to this week’s dessert, served with fresh peach shortcakes.

Cream Shortcake Mix
