What’s In The Box? February 7-13

Weekend Brunch
Rise and shine! Gather round the table and ward off the chill with a satisfying brunch starring Skagit River Ranch’s organic breakfast sausages, locally-crafted Honeycrisp apple cider and, of course, our own farm-fresh eggs. Complemented by other breakfast-ready ingredients such as Tunawerth’s cream cheese, Cherry Valley Dairy gray sea salt butter and cinnamon raisin bread, this week’s box also includes Pink Lady apples, fingerling potatoes and baby Shiitake mushrooms—so pour yourself a cup of joe and get to cookin’.

Here’s what you’ll find in your box this week:

Skagit River Ranch Breakfast Sausage

With a flavor profile that includes hints of sweet maple syrup and savory spices, this incredible breakfast sausage is made from all-natural pork raised on the Skagit River Ranch in Sedro-Woolley. These pampered pigs roam outdoors in certified-organic pasture land to root and dig, thriving on a diet of flax seed, corn and wheat.

Fresh Raisin Bread

Made with natural starter, cinnamon and moist, chewy Flame raisins, this freshly-baked loaf is from our favorite bakery in nearby Snohomish.

Cherry Valley Dairy Cultured Butter
with Gray Sea Salt

This silky-smooth butter from Duvall-based Cherry Valley Dairy combines sweet, grassy butter with artisan gray sea salt for a flavor profile that wows.

Sauk Farm Honeycrisp Apple Cider

Crafted from cold-pressed Honeycrisp apples grown on Sauk Farm in Concrete, Washington, this refreshing cider is delicious served crisp and cold all on its own, or is mixed into your next cocktail.

Maurice Bonnamy Crémant de Loire Brut

Hailing from the Loire Valley in France and made from Chenin Blanc grapes, this lovely sparkling wine pairs beautifully with this week’s Honeycrisp apple cider.

Farm Fresh Eggs

Our small flock of heritage breed laying hens are on an early-to-bed, later-to-rise schedule with the shorter daylight hours. As they spend more time snug in their coop, the “girls” are enjoying an extra helping of grain to supplement their diet, continuing to give us fresh eggs in beautiful shades of brown, blue and green.

Tunawerth Creamery Cream Cheese

A luscious, spreadable cream cheese made by a small, family-run dairy in Tenino, Washington.

Crème Fraîche

Crafted in our farmstead creamery from pasteurized organic sweet cream, our rich and silky crème fraîche adds a beautiful finishing touch to eggs, salad dressings and more.

Blueberry Jam

Our housemade jam is crafted from juicy Northwest blueberries hand-picked each morning during peak season. To preserve the wonderful fresh flavor and color, we make this jam with blueberries, organic cane sugar, fresh-squeezed lemon juice and pectin

Seasonal Fruit

Pink Lady apples and Moro blood oranges

Seasonal Organic Greens

Spicy microgreens and mizuna.

Baby Shiitake Mushrooms

With their curled umbrella-shaped caps and tender thin stalks, these beautiful organic Shiitake mushrooms release a garlic-pine aroma when cooked and boast a rich, earthy flavor.

Seasonal Organic Vegetables

This week’s produce selection also includes baby carrots, red and yellow onions, red Kuri squash, and Amarosa pink and Purple Delight blue fingerling potatoes.

Fresh Garden Herbs

Parsley and thyme from the walled garden and greenhouse at Bella Luna Farms.
