From fresh, organic Italian sausage from Skagit River Ranch to hand-crafted gemelli pasta, this week’s box has you prepped for pasta night. Also including a gorgeous bounty of produce to add into your pasta as you please—think such favorites as Tropea onions, Lacinato kale and Jimmy Nardello peppers—plus sweet, licorice-flavored fennel flowers, corn and salad cucumbers, this late-summer lineup is also accented by Pomodoro bread, farmstead eggs and ripe-and-ready yellow peaches and Canadice grapes from the Grapehouse. Skagit River Ranch Italian Sausage

The pampered pigs raised on the Skagit River Ranch in Sedro-Woolley roam outdoors in certified-organic pastureland to root, dig, and cavort as only happy pigs can, thriving on a diet of flax seed, corn and wheat. Spiced with savory herbs, this delectable Italian-style sausage will add a flavorful, savory note to a hearty bowl of pasta this week.

Bellingham Pasta Co. Fresh Gemelli Pasta

Hand-crafted in nearby Bellingham, this semolina pasta comes in a twisted spiral shape—hence the name gemelli, which means “twins” in Italian.

Pomodoro Loaf

Flecked with flavorful sun-dried tomatoes and herbs, plus a hint of sea salt, this savory loaf is baked just for us by our favorite bakery in Snohomish.

Château de La Font du Loup Côtes du Rhône

Red and black fruits greet the nose along with lavender floral notes in this medium-bodied red fresh with silky smooth tannins. Black cherry liqueur, ripe black plum and black raspberry flavors linger as the wine exhibits considerable elegance and finesse.

Farm Fresh Eggs

Busy scratching through the straw mulch in their spacious outdoor run looking for tasty bugs and worms, our heritage breed laying hens supply us with fresh eggs in beautiful shades of cream, beige and brown.

Farm & Larder Chicken Stock

Made from roasted Bella Luna chickens, our signature stock is simmered slowly for hours with carrots, onions and celery and seasoned with a dash of sea salt. This immensely flavorful broth adds a beautiful richness to the likes of soups and pastas.

Fresh Organic Greens

Beautiful Lacinato kale and seasonal mixed salad greens.

Late-Summer Fruit

Gorgeous yellow freestone peaches from Collins Family Orchards and Canadice grapes harvested from the Bella Luna Grapehouse.

Sweet to the taste like licorice candy, tender fennel flowers are small, bright, yellow florets that grow in clusters to form a delicate bouquet.
