How it Works
First of all, how does it work? A handcrafted wooden box will be hand-delivered to your doorstep, where it will remain throughout the duration of your subscription. This is where your weekly Farm & Larder goods will be placed each week.
What's in the box this week?
Wake up to a box full of breakfast bliss: Start your morning with the sweet-spiced Skagit River Ranch breakfast sausage, paired with fragrant rosemary sea salt bread and farm-fresh eggs for a simple, satisfying scramble or sunny-side-up feast. Alongside these breakfast stars enjoy mixed local mushrooms, Bellsong Creamery buttermilk, local apple cider, seasonal chicories, winter citrus fruits, wildflower honey and a fragrant bundle of garden-grown herbs—perfect for turning any meal into a morning-inspired masterpiece.
Here’s what you’ll find in your box this week:
Skagit River Ranch Breakfast Sausage
With a flavor profile that includes hints of sweet maple syrup and savory spices, these incredible breakfast sausages are made from the all-natural pork raised on the Skagit River Ranch in Sedro-Woolley. These pampered pigs roam outdoors in certified-organic pasture land to root and dig, thriving on a diet of flax seed, corn and wheat.
Mixed Local Mushrooms
A beautiful selection of locally-foraged wild mushrooms.
New Day Baking Rosemary Sea Salt Bread
Kissed with fragrant rosemary and flecks of sea salt, this lovely freshly-baked loaf makes for lovely crostini, toast, or even sandwich bread.
Island Time Coffee Salish Orca Blend
Crafted specifically for the Northwest aesthetic, Island Time Coffee Company sources only the finest, farm-direct, sustainable coffee beans from Latin America and Indonesia. All of the Whidbey Island company’s coffee is small-batch roasted, ensuring the best possible freshness.
Dragon’s Head Sweet Dabinett Cider
This full-bodied, wild-fermented, barrel-aged cider is made by Dragon’s Head Cider on Vashon Island, WA using Dabinett apples, a traditional bittersweet variety. It features notes of toasted sugar, dried apricot, and brandy in the aroma, with flavors of orange peel and green tea.
Sauk Farm Honeycrisp Apple Cider
Crafted from cold-pressed Honeycrisp apples grown on Sauk Farm in Concrete, Washington, this refreshing cider is delicious served crisp and cold all on its own, or is mixed into your next cocktail.
Farm Fresh Eggs
Our small flock of heritage-breed Black Copper Marans, Ameraucanas, and Delawares provides us with fresh eggs in beautiful shades of brown and green. With the shorter days of winter, the hens rise with the sun to roam outdoors—and tuck into their coop early each evening to roost.
Fresh Buttermilk & Crème Fraîche
Beautifully-thick, tangy and creamy buttermilk, plus rich and silky crème fraîche, both made in our farmstead creamery, Bellsong.
Bella Luna Wildflower Honey
Golden wildflower honey from the apiary here at Bella Luna Farms.
Seasonal Organic Greens
Your box contains a beautiful selection of radicchio, including Castelfranco, Lusia, Tosalba and Treviso varieties, as well as baby arugula greens.
Fresh Organic Fruit & Vegetables
This week’s produce selection also includes leeks and Pinto Gold fingerling potatoes, plus Meyer lemons and Cara Cara oranges.
Garden-Grown Herbs
A fragrant mixed bundle of herbs from the hoophouse and walled garden here at Bella Luna.
