How it Works

First of all, how does it work? A handcrafted wooden box will be hand-delivered to your doorstep, where it will remain throughout the duration of your subscription. This is where your weekly Farm & Larder goods will be placed each week.

What's in the box this week?

Fields of Flavor

This week’s box is a celebration of late-summer color and flavor, brimming with farm-fresh treasures. Vibrant baby red beets, rainbow carrots, and purple sprouting broccoli mingle with Persian cucumbers, honey corn, and mixed summer squash, while Breton Coco shelling beans hint at the season’s transition. A soft, herb-kissed focaccia makes the perfect partner for dipping in olive oil or pairing with your garden-fresh herbs. Farm eggs in rich shades of brown and cream, crisp frisée and Luisa radicchio, F&L house-blend grill rub, and sweet Stanley prunes round out a box designed to capture the very best of the harvest.

Here’s what you’ll find in your box this week:

Summer Vegetables
The bounty of the summer harvest continues: This week, you’ll find baby red beets, baby rainbow bunched carrots, Breton Coco shelling beans. Persian cucumbers, mixed summer squash, honey corn and purple sprouting broccoli all in your box.

House-Blend Grill Rub
Made with a mixture of savory spices including garlic, thyme and smoked sea salt, our house-blend is excellent rubbed on chicken, beef, fish and even seasonal vegetables—think bell pepper slices, sweet onion rounds or corn on the cob!

Focaccia Bread
Baked by our favorite bakery in nearby Snohomish, this soft, chewy Italian-style loaf is kissed with fragrant fresh herbs. It’s delicious served warm and dipped in olive oil.

Dragon’s Head Airlie Red Cider
Crafted from a single varietal of red-fleshed apples, this stunning cider from Vashon Island’s Dragon’s Head Cider pours a gorgeous ruby hue. Its bright, fruit-forward profile carries lively citrus notes with a crisp, refreshing finish—perfect for sipping alongside late-summer fare or enjoying chilled on its own. A true expression of Pacific Northwest orchards in every glass.

Farm Fresh Eggs
Our small flock of heritage breed laying hens is made up of three heritage breeds: Black Copper Maran, Ameraucana, and Delaware. As they spend plenty of time outdoors in the summer sun, they are also enjoying garden trimmings to supplement their diet as they continue to give us fresh eggs in beautiful shades of brown, beige and cream.

Seasonal Organic Greens
Endive frisée and Luisa radicchio.

Fresh Organic Fruit
This week’s produce selection also includes Stanley prune plums.

Garden-Grown Herbs
A fragrant mixed bundle of fresh herbs from the walled garden.
