What's in the box this week?

Summer Solstice

We’ve reached the longest, lightest days of the year, and fittingly, the gardens are bursting to life as they soak up every last ray of sunshine. This week, capture a taste of summer with such seasonal faves as Sungold cherry tomatoes, fava beans, and sweet dark cherries, as well as creamy, dreamy duck eggs, Bellsong Creamery Cremoso cheese, and caramelized onion and thyme sourdough bread from New Day Baking. Also included: Crisp summery salad greens, jarred mixed mushrooms, chocolate-cherry almond cookies, and a Zinnia grow kit for your garden!

Here’s what you’ll find in your box this week:

Summer Cherries!
These Washington-grown dark red berries are decadently sweet and delicately crisp!

Mushroom Mix
A lovely jarred mixture of wild mushrooms from Casina Rossa.

New Day Baking Caramelized Onion and Thyme Sourdough Bread
Kissed with fragrant caramelized onions and flecks of thyme, this lovely freshly-baked sourdough loaf makes for lovely crostini, toast, or even sandwich bread.

Jean-Luc Colombo Cape Bleue Rose 2023
This invigorating rosé is a dusty-pink blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes. The raspberry and watermelon flavors are zesty and cutting, edged by crushed mineral and salt as well as a lingering, thirst-quenching acidity.

Farm Fresh Eggs
Our small flock of heritage breed laying hens is made up of three breeds: Black Copper Maran, Ameraucana, and Delaware. As they spend more time outdoors in the sun, they also enjoy produce trimmings and fresh greens to supplement their diet of organic layer mash, and continue to give us fresh eggs in beautiful shades of brown, beige and cream.

Duck Eggs
With near-transparent egg whites and color-rich oversize yolks, these local duck eggs are a chef’s dream, lending flavorful appeal to a variety of dishes.

Bellsong Creamery Cremoso Cheese
Crafted from whole cow’s milk and aged for just 2–4 weeks, Cremoso is our take on the classic Italian cacciotta. This rindless young cheese has a tender, sliceable texture perfect for melting with sweet, buttery notes and a subtle tang that gives way to a clean, milky finish.

Seasonal Organic Greens
This week’s delivery of beautiful greens features fancy salad mix, purple radish microgreens and Little Gem lettuces.

Seasonal Organic Fruit & Vegetables
This week’s produce selection also includes: Fava beans, Sungold cherry tomatoes, asparagus, and sugar snap peas.

Garden-Grown Herbs
Tarragon, oregano and marjoram from the walled garden.

Chocolate Cherry Almond Cookies
Freshly-baked cookies studded with chocolate chips, dried cherries, and almonds.

Zinnia Grow Kit
A beautiful flower garden kit to plant easy, fast-growing California giant mixed zinnias.
